Study Goal

Our study goal is to examine the effects of social networking on people with Rheumatoid Arthritis. 

Objectives

  • To improve patients’ self-management
  • To evaluate an educational website to help with patients’ decision making
  • To develop and test an online social networking intervention

You are eligible if you:

Diagnosed with
Rheumatoid Arthritis

Have been diagnosed by a doctor as having Rheumatoid Arthritis for 10 years or less.

E-mail address

Have an e-mail address for the research team to send you study material.

Using the Internet

Able to use the internet: visiting sites, posting comments.

Where does the study take place?
Will it take a lot of my time?
No, your participation can be a few hours per week online.
